If you have the time, Ground Zero, could you please send me a hi res shot of the JSR and Chu chu Rocket ones? Note that I'm not interested in buying them (sorry) and I don't want to waste your time, but my friend was really interested in the details and how he could do something like that. If you can't it's not a problem, but if you can, send them to einbebop44@aol.com. Thanks. :)

  7. Amazing, so the infamous Chu Chu Rocket Dreamcast IS official after all. Do you know the conditions under which these were released, Ground Zero?

And does anyone know why the Eidos logo is on the Code Veronica system? Did they help distribute the game in Europe or something?

As long as drug lords and weapon dealers take US cash, I'm fine with the dollar.

Funny you should mention that, a few weeks ago a drug mule was found flying from Spain to Guatemala with $1200 worth of Euros in his stomach. So the drug dealers are switching over to Euros after all.

On topic: Those are the coolest DCs I've ever seen. I so want one.

See i dont count any of these as official sega items. At best someone at PR in sega asked some company to airbrush some consoles for them to give away. I think theres even a link to the site flying around. I think they will even make you one if u pay for it.
None of them were limited edition consoles actually produced by sega.

Apart form the sonic one. I think that was done in house by sega wasnt it? Also it was a give away from the sonic team. Best dreamcast ever! Too bad its so much.

@Paulo+Ince: Thanks for sharing your opinion - but (sorry) you don't have a clue.

Of course they're official. I got the ChuChuRocket directly from a Sega of Germany department - what's more official than that?

They were airbrushed by T. Rachu of www.top-airbrush.de who is the best airbrush artist on consoles. Of course did he made much other airbrush consoles - but he made them in contract for Sega/Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo and other software publishers.

Take a look at the "Gästebuch" on the mainpage: You'll see much thanks-giving from PR officials like SCEE (sony of Europe), Acclaim, Eidos, ...
Take a look at "Preise": "Die hier abgebildeten Motive auf den Spielkonsolen sind im Auftrag des jeweiligen Herstellers angefertigt worden und daher nicht für Dritte reproduzierbar."
roughly translated: The shown consoles were made in contract for the consoles producer and it's not possible to make further copies.

Of course you can get a console from this shop for yourself - but T.Rachu wouldn't spray a copyrighted picture or any trademarks on it (which is forbidden in germany). And take a look: My consoles all wear official trademarks!

You could say it like assembler: Anything not SoJ isn't worth collecting.
But please don't say they're not offical - they are.

    Read my post again....

I remember me saying yes they might of been asked to of been produced by the PR departments but i dont find them to be the same as actually limited edition sega produced consoles like Biohazard S.T.A.R.S. and D-Direct pearl blue/pink models.
