It's not getting enough use to justify the space it takes up (!) so I'm offering my GDEV setup for sale or trade.

    Included in this sale:

GDEV unit (HW2, full speed controller)
    ODEM card
    ODEM cable
USB2EXI adaptor + original cable (includes original shipping box)
    Original USB2EXI manuals
    Gamecube Über-Installer CD
NPDP cartridge (includes several playable Dakar 2 betas)
'NPDP-GDEV Software and Manual Disc (GCT-0100 Rev 1.01)' CD
    'Nintendo Gamecube SDK 08-Sept-2001' CD

dm7_demon recently sold one of his on eBay for £300 without a cart, SDK or manuals, so I'm looking for offers around £420 + postage. If you'd like to trade instead I'm currently looking for Genesis dev stuff, a DTL-H30002 and a GD-writer, though feel free to offer me your XeDKs instead ;-)

    Thanks for looking.

In reply to some of the queries I've had:

    1) No, I won't trade the whole set for just a GD-writer. Jeez.
    2) The uber-installer has a Windows Installshield setup program which installs the following packages:

    GCN SDK:
    -GCN SDK 20-Apr-2004
    -GCN SDK 20-Apr-2004 Patch1
    -GCN Docs 20-Apr-2004
-VirtualMemory_18-NOV-2003 (description: 'The Virtual Memory Library allows ARAM memory to be accessed transparently through virtual memory accesses')
-THP 2-SEP-2002 ('THP library allows playback of movies on the Nintendo GameCube)
-Socket Library Package Beta ('The GCN Socket Library Package is a Socket Library API for Nintendo Gamecube designed to imitate the Berkeley Socket API. This library is provided so you can create game development tools (such as viewers) that use the broadband adapter').

MusyX ('MusyX is an end-to-end software solution for the design, production and playback of game audio content for the Nintendo Gamecube')
    -GCN MusyX 2.0
    -GCN MusyX 2.0 9-Jan-2003 Patch3

    Dev tools:
    -tcseditor 1_3_2
    -usb2exi v1221
    -BBA screenshot tool 2.1 19-Sept-03
    -TexConv 15-Sept-2003

    Test Tools:
    -makegcm v1004 9-10-01
    -cardedit 13-July-03

    Dev Kit drivers:
    -AMC DDK v32
    -NPDP-GDEV v130a

    Cygnus B20

    Cheers,

    Stone

Im not very much into nintendo's custom stuff so some questions...

I'd need a gangwriter (+ the super-rare interface card) to actually write to the cart right?

Correct. You can only write to the cart with an NPDP-SW (single writer) or NPDP-GW (gang writer), and you can only control the GW or SW with the NPDP-WIF PCI card. GDEVs and GBOXes can only read from the carts.
