    erm shipping is $16 to the UK for a VMU?!?!? that must be a mistake :smt043

    I was considering it till i saw that, ill just buy the limited VMU i want elsewhere

    Checked at AusPost web site with 310g weight. It's between 250 and 500g bracket so that's how much AusPost is charging...

    I'm working out to reduce the weight of packaging without the possibility of VMU get damaged - of course I can put it into a padded envelope and hope for the best...

    in any case don't worry I'm working on the ways to reduce the total weight...

    p.s. anyone with better idea plz let me know. I'm using hard carton sleeve over the bubble warpping before I put into thick heavy duty carton envelope for extra protection...

    just use a padded envelope - unless it was hit with a hammer it will be fine

    Ok I will update two sets of shipping charge - one with heavy duty packing and the other for thin pad'd envelope. Of coz no responsibility if you go for the thin pad'd envelope. :p

    I'm but worried though as the pad'd envelope I got is very thin and doesn't provide much protection... Still if the total weight is over 250g the shipping charge will be the same as AustPost charge as weight block and not the actual weight...

    well this is what I get from AusPost...

    Assuming to ship to US/Canada which is the zone 4

    up to 250g
    Air mail USD 8.90
    Economy Air USD 7.90

    obviously it will be more for Europe...

    looks like I need to find out the way to get the final weight under 250g to get the above price...

    Not to be an arse, but the price of shipping is exorbinant! It costs me $4 USD to send a DC game (5-6 OZ) to UK; it's cost me $12 USD to send 2 DC Games + 1 Guide (1.5 LBS or around 650-700 Grams).

    Maybe Australian Post is expensive? I'd have to say so, at least compared to US Post! :smt045

    well if thats the price of shipping then they are dramatically worse :smt045. Shipping to the US from the UK is reasonably cheap and i always find royal mail alot faster and more reliable than either Canadian or US post.

    I had two separate eBay auctions from UK sent to me got lost.
    I'm still waiting for these and they were shipped on February and March this year... still there's a hope... :smt022
