FS: White PSP 3.40 OE-A (sort of broken)

My White PSP I got in Japan has started playing up and I have no idea why.....

It's been running 3.10 OE-C for ages and on holiday it crashed and the only way of restarting it was to remove the battery. Well, since then it keeps randomly crashing when playing PSone games from the memory stick.

I upgraded the firmware to 3.40 OE-A thinking this may resolve things. It's improved it a little but not much. When playing on UMD it's a lot better but it has crashed once (playing Minna Golf).

I've decided to get a new one but to help fund my new one I was wondering if anybody wants this one...?

Bear in mind sometimes it works fine, other times it crashes. The PSP would be IDEAL for spares if anyone has broken theirs as it is in MINT condition. I hardly ever play it and when I didn't I kept it in it's box.

What you see in the pictures will come with it - earphones, charger, memory card (32Mb), strap etc. The screen has no dead pixels either.

I'm asking £50 plus £5 shipping. If international please add a further £3 to P&P. I'm no sure what it's worth and if you think this price is outrageous, I can haggle a small amount.

a thought have you tried reflashing your firmware? the first time i did my psp with 3.03oec it was acting like how you say yours is, once i reflashed it , it was perfect ( i now use 3.40oea) and everything is still perfect)

 

With my ta-82 mobo US black one, 3.40oe WILL randomly lockup for no reason, especially on ps1 games. It also does it on my friends ta-82, but not on a differents friends ta-79, leading me to believe its a ta-82 issue.

Most definately white. All the other colours are not very nice tbh.

 

the blue is quite nice, but definalty the white is most striking (apart from the pink!), think i might keep this one for myself and give my son one of my blacks instead, othewise i dont think it will stay white for long!

now all i need is a pink or white ds and ill be sorted!
