FT: Playstation 3 retail version of "Motorstorm" (UK)

I have a retail version and a promo version. Guess which one I don't require any longer? Yep, you guessed it there is 1 genuine PS3 retail edition of Motorstorm available for trade. It is new, boxed, with genuine inserts and cover. Used to test and that's that. Any PS3 title not on this list considered:

Uncharted
Lair
Motorstorm (obviously)
Genji
Warhawk
F1 Championship
Sega Rally (looking for promo version however, so retail would become available too)
Resistance fall of man

Is there any particular reason why you have a preference for the promo version over the retail version? Not that you can be wrong either way, but I am curious. They use the same save data files, but the promo version lacks a manual and other such things...

 

Data is exactly the same, however the prices tend not to be.

Here's a thought: £40-50 ($80-100) for a brand new retail version. £20-30 ($40-60) second-hand, or you can grab promo titles for as little as £6 ($12) from a variety of sources. Hence me obtaining several promo titles in one go as opposed to a single retail title. Finally the PS3 is getting some use!

 

Well once Metal Gear comes out than my ps3 will finally get some attention.

 

Yeah, for sure that is one title high up on the expectation list. ;-)

If "Motorstorm" doesn't sell / trade here then I actually have a 'Free Swap' card for any second-hand title in my local independent store. Thought I'd give an AG member first refusal.

 

Yup I agree on the cost and the use. I have 3 other games. Motorstorm, F1 and Genji, The first two came with the machine as a deal and Genji was a freebie from an internet points collection site thing

So this is my "first" purchase and will mean I will use the machine for gaming for the first time in umpteen months.

As got this the other day...better than the £40+ retail price!!!

Well done on obtaining Uncharted for £16. I usually see them going for £20+

I have the original and have been playing it to death. There are some really excellent sections and it's just as much an FPS as it is a strategy game. It's Tomb Raider meets Die Hard. Great fun!

 

Even though I have had it a good few days, still not got around to actually playing it yet.....typical
