Fuck you valve, fuck you.

I reinstalled my half life 2 as I got episode 1.
I got it cheap, like $9 at circuit city.

So I install hl2, then the exp. Then I register Episode 1. It's the top window on the desktop, as it was installed last. It registers with steam fine.
I go to register hl2.

It says it's tied to another account. Some old account I cannot remember.
No problem, I can find the account (maybe).
But guess what.

If I log into old account 1,( if I remember it) I can play hl2.
But not the exp. It's tied to account 2.
If I log into account 2, I can't use the exp. or hl2. The exp needs
a valid hl2.

So here I am, legitimate owner of both softwares.
$80 worth of software, legit bought, on my bed.

Unable to fucking play them.

So I have to fill out a CD key reset form.

This is complete bullshit.

Now I have to wait on some person who knows where to reset the hl2 key.

I had to take a FUCKING picture of the key with my name on it,
and then email it to them.

I have never been so goddamn angry in ages.

So, in short. Fuck you valve.

I have no time for bullshit like this.
There's piracy protection, and then there's just stupidity.

The sad thing is I could hit bittorrent, download and install a cracked version and be playing before I get a response from valve.

No hassle, $80 saved. This is what I get for being a legit user. A faceful of DRM bullshit.
