Full PAL dreamcast set of games

I was just valuing my game collection for insurance purposes and it occurred to me that I have absolutely no clue how much my dreamcast collection is worth.

I have a complete set of PAL dreamcast games and was wondering how much that set would be worth approximately?

 

£2-3k?

Damn, I was already considering selling it or some of it and a couple of thousand would be nice

 

I think it'll go for more if all the cases are mint

 

half the cases look like they've just had the seal taken off, the other half are intact save for the odd light scratch on the front or back, all hinges are perfect, all disc teeth are intact, there are no cracks in any of the plastic whatsoever

 

The prices for some games have been going up recently. That + mint cases = more than £3k (can't tell you exact numbers though)

 

~225 games * average 10 bucks = 2250 bucks.

Do you think the price would be higher or lower than separate sale? On the one hand a complete set saves a ton of time and hassle so it provides higher value for the buyer - on the other hand, the pool of buyers who are willing to pay more than 2k for PAL Dreamcast games (given most interested buyers already own a big chunk of those games) may be slim and that drives down the price again.

 

I was wondering this for my complete USA set but there is no way I would ever let it got for 2k, some games like Sonic Limited Edition are worth a lot by them selves but last ful USA set I saw on eBay went for $1,500.
