Although it is bad that there is a nuclear power station in a bad way, I could not help laugh when my girlfriend told me of a new story about how a layer of yellow and white dust appeared on cars and roofs and people feared that it might be from the damaged nuclear power plant and indeed the local tokyo government did test it for nuclear radiation. However people forget that it is spring, and it was quite windy before some heavy but quick rain and the yellow and white dust in question turned out to be non radioactive rape flower and sakura flower pollen...
I got a better one: China of all people have barred imports of Japanese produce cultivated on Honshu from basically Tokyo all the way up to Aomori. Talking about pots & kettles...
In the US this has come to be expected of such a sheepish populous. In Japan it isn't, thus they look really damn stupid.
