    Probably something similar to google-bombing. Google "miuserable failure", "worst president", "great president" (all link to Bush's biography), "litigious bastards" (SCO vs IBM over the linux kernal), "waffles" (uh... used to be John Kerry's website). There's many others.

    All it takes is a few sites to link to the particular site with the relevant words after it, eg "www.georgebush.com miserable failure". Even if www.georgebush.com doesn't have "miserable failure" anywhere in it, the number of sites referencing it will bump it up.
