Are many people here familiar with Ray Stevens? He's kind of a country performer, but his song styles vary with each song he makes. I imagine most of the members from the South of the US know of him, and I just saw some of his music videos again after probably 15 years...total nostalgia trip. The songs really held up well though, I still find a lot of them funny, even if they are cheesy and bizzarre.

I don't know what it is about him or his songs, but I think he's pretty damn funny, and he manages to do it without relying on cursing a lot or tons of profanity, and thats a pretty big accomplishment nowadays.
