I seem to remember another member saying the ebay thread wasn't going bold for him when there were unread posts, but at the same time it was bold for me when i click "New Posts" and so was this one for me when i just read your post.... so strange

I hope i'm not missing out on some interesting and active threads because of it. XD

^kinda agreed...I also play modern FPS but the good olÂ´map design is the number 1 reason for me to play the older ones (sometimes I hate this straight forward thing...if I wanted this I would play Rail shooters -.-)
though IÂ´m of a younger generation (born 1993 XD)

I think Call of Duty 2 was the best game of the series. I have yet to find someone who would agree, but I thought the battlefield atmosphere and the desperate fight that you would experience is something the new games like Modern Warfare are missing.

When I play those I usually feel kind of "ignored" as the player: The game pushes me from one cutscene to the other. Sometimes cutscenes can even be triggered by automatically moving NPC's which I find particularly annoying: Who's the boss?

actually in my Opinion in the older ones like the original Doom, Wolfenstein and so on you can just discover a lot more and dont got this like "lala I dont care whatÂ´s happening around me I just walk straight forward" scheme.
ThatÂ´s what I like about it.
PLUS the good old crates with various items are missing int most of the new FPS!
(did anyone here count the crates he has broken/opened in all the videogames ? XD i guess not...cause there were uncountable loads of them in the older games/in the Mario games you can still find them)
