Finally finding Ridge Racer 6 that wasn't over priced, but this one has a funny story behind it. (kinda) http://hexigon.blogspot.com/2011/11/riiiiiiiiiiidge-racerrrr-6-finally.html Mind you, I was actually in a retail store at the counter buying this game off a customer.
Cool story) I once was in a similar situation - when I was in NY I went to the VIDEOGAMESNEWYORK - a pretty stupid but famous shop with retro consoles and imports. While I was there a guy brought his xbox (first, not 360) with two controllers, all the hook-ups and 15 great games (no sports) - they wanted to give him 15$ for that. But some games from his pack they sell for 25$. They would have sell all this stuff for at least 150$)) I just told that guy to go to ebay.
I happen to not find one in Australia for that price on eBay. EB Games are selling this game for $12 but no stores near by. Of course I can see these games on eBay from UK, but shipping is around $6
Just sounds like you saved like $3 by picking it up in person, which is the case most of the time when buying things. Rather than an awesome deal it initially sounded like.
The funny thing I forgot to mention (love my brain) I asked the customer if he had change, he said no. The staff than grabbed a change for $20 out of his pocket. What the hell is going on here? lol
Cool story. Talking about Ridge Racer, do you think i should look for a copy of Ridge Racer 7? It's basicly Ridge Racer 6 for the PS3. Do you think it still worth it?
I seem to remember seeing a comparison of 6 and 7, and 6 looked better. I got Ridge Racer 6 a couple years ago for ~$10 at Gamestop. I've only played it a few times. It seemed like a rehash of Ridge Racer PSP, which I had already played extensively. I expect more of a console RR game.
