Funtech Super A'can - finally emulated!

The MESS team have released the latest version of their emulator, and what better new feature than a working A'can driver! I've already seen over the past couple of days that some ROMs have been dumped and shown to be working on there, among them Bomb Bomb Zoo, Dragon Force and Super Taiwan Baseball. Now if I can only find the ROMs now :nod:

Seems like Bomb Bomb Zoo is the only game that's really working at the moment. Dragon Force goes into its intro but that's as far as I can get. No sound support yet either. At least there appears to be a bright future for A'can now

is there actually anything worth playing/trying out? I ve never had any A'can experience.

Dragon Force is definitely worth trying I think, though I've never played it, and the emulator doesn't play it yet. But from screens I've seen it looks very colorful and worthwhile.

Of course a lot of people like to just assume since it's more fun think the system sucks for some reason..?

 

I owned an A'Can with all but one of the games, and make no mistake: all the ones I played were utter shit. I never played Boomzoo (the bomberman clone) as it was sealed, apparently that one's alright.

With regards to ROMs, I know Mr. Sound-About here said they'd all been dumped but I think he was also refusing to give them out.

Honestly though, you're not missing much with this system.
