Fuses on Mega-CD I PAL

    Can anyone check or confirm that the 2.5A picofuses are the way to go at 250V?
    There was previously a blob of solder in place of the fuse so I figured I might recap it and put in a real fuse.
    As well as... a KSS-240 CD deck! Goodbye JVC stranded non-replaceable laser!
    Update the BIOS with that fancy new one floating around and I'm set! :)

    Hi friend! Long time no see! 2.5amp seems to be the consensus so far and I can't work out why I'd have two of them in two separate orders unless I bought them both for this same machine. I won't throw the JVC deck out! That would be madness! I've put it with the OTHER JVC unit I have ;)

    Although to me that link you found looks like the socket cable version not the ribbon. From what I understand the ribbon cable version is impossible to find nowadays as they stopped making them a long time ago and either weren't used in much or no one bothered to copy and mass produce them!

    Either way, I'm happy I got all these 2.5A fuses :)
