    I've never heard of those referred to as "keyfobs", only as pearlers...

    They are called keyfobs, keyrings or keychains; do a Google image search on those three references and they all show the same things - something you attach to your keys (car keys, house keys, etc). In the UK we normally call these things "keyfobs".

    I have a Mario face keyfob on my keys; they are fun, and also make locating your keys easy too.

    I now see where they are called that; just never heard of that usage over here. When we hear keyfob, we think of something with a battery in it used for secure access to something.
