FYOU Florida!! Hurricane 2!!

Just checked the news this morning..damn its close now, friggin this looks darn near as bis as the state...wow. Only a few hours away now, well good luck to those. This must relly suck getting it twice in 3 weeks. I must say sometimes its good to be in the north eh !

Heh I want to move to a place like that later on. Here in North New Jersey nothing major has happened the worst was a hurricane like 6 years ago, knocked down 2 trees (where I live) and thats it.

yeah, the ice storm was in 2001. around christmas i got lunar 2 and just started it and the electricity went out for weeks.

earlier in 2000 we had a blizzard which accumulated around 15 inches of snow in some areas. some of you may be surpised by this but just a little snow in our town stops everything. (almost)
no school for 2 weeks with electricity. :smt023

10-15 inches may be just a little to some of you but this was in southern Arkansas!

The "blizzard" that you are talking about happend right before the Ice Storm. I remember now, it was Cristmas 2000, but it lasted in to 2001. So our Ice Storm was in 2000/2001. I remember, Robert (HH) came over on his ATV, and we took that thing out into my field. It was freakin awesome. :-D

I'm telling you, that 20 acres we have is perfect for ATVs. You should bring yours out one day. :-D

 

Wow. This hurrican is still not finished with us. We are getting tropical storm winds but we got the harsh part during the night. We did ok except for the towns north of us and the towns south of us as well as the coast.

And guess what, this friday, ANOTHER ONE WILL HIT US!!!

 

that's what i call luck....
