After viewing a video showing Tokyo Cop booting up into a X server. I decided to check out the contents of the CHD file that's dumped. It's a standard Debian Linux install and you can even execute the "inigame" file to launch, however it won't run because the two modules nvidia.o and sndgaelco.o will only run on Linux Kernel 2.4.16

Does not use security dongle and is not JAMMA either. Just thought I'd like to share this information with you guys. Maybe somebody else can get it running on their old PC

    What

Gaelco's Tokyo Cop runs a version of Debian Linux. You can download the CHD file and see for yourself. It may even be possible to get it to run. However the game doesn't launch because nvidia.o and sndgaelco.o need linux kernel 2.4.16. Maybe one of you can get it to run on an older computer. Does not use security dongles or JAMMA controls

    Posts keep getting lost

Gaelco's Tokyo Cop runs on Debian Linux and may run on any computer with kernel 2.4.16. Does not use security dongles or JAMMA

I highly suspect the other PC based games use the same no protection Linux+Nvidia card setup
