I've scanned the Nintendo website and there are no "careers" information any where... Nintendo Australia doesn't even have an general enquiry email. Does anybody or has anybody worked for Nintendo in this field. I believe I have the right skills for this job and even if it's for another company, how would I go about it?

I thought of sending a letter to Nintendo regarding the wanted position - would that be the right approach?

Wouldn't hurt to show interest in working for them, what's the worst that can happen?

it's definitely the right approach, failing that if possible you could always approach the office's directly by paying them a visit and enquire about work that way, either way you look enthusiastic which is half the battle, good luck

Blimey. I'm surprised they even bothered with an Australia division in Victoria.

A lot of companies seem to see Australia as an extension of their European arm and as such the headquarters are within the European Union.

I'm not sure what kind of jobs you can get there as they only seem to be involved with the events side of things. There are probably no jobs listed because the QA for the territory is probably the same as other PAL regions thus done elsewhere, but who knows. It isn't going to kill you to try and if you do get a job out of it, at least you'd have a job! :D

A job with Nintendo would be great, I mean it's Nintendo after all also with my age it would be a great first job :).
Actually when there was the Wii event around the city, they were Australian, so I believe they have promo teams here too. Hopefully I can get a response at least.
