Hey guys. Don't know if this game is rare or not, so I came here to ask. I have a NTSC copy of Galaxy Force for the SMS, but the box is one I've never seen before. Instead of the regular grid pattern, it's got a silver border all around (can't take a pic right now). I can't find any info on it or any silver label SMS games. Is this rare or common?

It's just the NTSC Activision release. Bomber Raid also had the same release but with a black border rather than silver.

That's right, it does say Activision on it, forgot to mention that. So I guess that's it's nothing special? The only reason I thought that it was is because when I looked up the game on ebay, I could only find the box that looks like every other SMS game.

It's definately harder to find than the standard white box release but not 'rare' or particularly valuable.
It's been a while since I did any trading with sms but going back maybe 3 years it was worth around $10-$15.

PM the forum member Playgeneration for a more accurate valuation but don't expect to be booking a holiday with the profits ;-)

I paid $30 for a copy, maybe 1 or 2 years ago. I don't think the price was totally unfair. Then again I am a bit of a sucker when it comes to Galaxy Force. $10-$15 is probably a good conversative estimate though.
