Hey guys, did some searching and can't seem to be able to find sites like http://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/Main_Page for when i'd like to check the authenticity of NES, SNES, Genesis games etc. I always open up the pricey items and check for those black globs (yes, I know there's a few games like Starfox that had those from factory) wires, and other easily noticeable forgeries. Just been looking for places where I can check for fakes like I do when buying MVS carts. Thanks!
http://snescentral.com/gameindex.php has scans of the different cart PCB types and lists which ones were used for each game for SNES. http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/ has them as well as the different cart revisions (3 screw vs 5 screw etc) for the NES.
For example, The one on the right is fake. However, from what I understand some snes game boards did have these..just not to many. I believe they are called "glob tops" and Ive seen fake ones where the glob top is more square as well.
