I like Game Center CX simply due to the basic idea right from when I first heard about the show. The abilty to really love the concept and realization, however, could only be aquired by understanding what Arino & his staff really said. This was made possible by some guy who uploaded several videos on crunchyroll.com. http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Game_Center_CX#s=/library/Game_Center_CX Thanks again to Importaku from whom I received the heads-up. Can anybody tell me, via PM or in the thread, how I can save those crunchyroll videos to my HDD? I'd really like to watch them on my TV as they're rather lengthy. In addition to that dubbed episodes are not yet available on DVD, otherwise I'd already own all seasons! Any advice on this is appreciated! :katamari:
I've got no idea about Crunchyroll, but (even though they're constantly being removed) I managed to download a bunch of GCCX episodes from YouTube & dump them onto a CD for playing in a DVD/video player. Not the best quality, but considering the (expensive) GCCX DVDs are just a "best of" each season, I'm happy to have rips of individual episodes.
You could try using the Real Player .flv downloader plugin, I believe it comes with the latest player, it's quite useful, you can download almost any video from any site, and it saves it as an .flv file.
I've got a toolbar (yeah... I know...) called... Ant or something (ant.com toolbar?), that has a "DOWNLOAD" button that works on every streaming site I've hit so far. Except that I haven't tried it on things like Hulu or other corperate copyrighted stuff.
http://www.tokyotosho.info/search.php?terms=game+center+cx&type=0 Here are torrents for the whole first season subbed by #tvnihon in great quality
And to think we were all going to buy Yakumo his own DVD box set like a sucker (^_^); j/k. I'd still probably consider it since this show is so great.
LOL the person who did it would have to be pretty rich as the entire lot costs well into 3 figures. Why are dvds in japan just so damn expensive i still cant figure it out. Box set number 6 comes out in dec, i can't wait. Shame it's not 100% every episode but least most ofthe good stuff is on them.
I think most of the media in Japan is fucking expensive when bought new or at release. Games cost easily 7500yen (80$), music 2500 (28$) and DVD's (or BR's) 4000 (45$), just to give a few more examples. I'd love to buy some CD's of Maki Asakawa, but their recent double album costs almost 45 Euros on Yahoo. What the .. ?:crying:
Unless there is an alternate source for this, we might be out to lunch. :-/ Maybe if some user here already downloaded the set they could re-seed or re-torrent it?
I have all the TV Nihon episodes sitting on my Hard Drive, not really in a position to seed them right now though
Just finished it (the 4,3gb torrent). None of the episodes does have subtitles! They are in very nice quality however - and not the same episodes that TV Nihon subbed. I downloaded these on the page that somebody here referred to and they seem to be pretty much all of the episodes that are up on crunchyroll.com. Hope they do continue their work
