Well I just had to say this and I have been looking around on the game collections tab and people have like every console boxed unused and stuff. Of course they got that from ebay but imagined if you found that in the wild. I think if you have a ton of money, it won't be fun to collect games as much because you go on Ebay and buy whatever you want and what is the excitement to that. For me, still in high school with no money and finding stuff at a thrift store and flea market is the most exciting ever but I think most people don't get that since they go on Ebay. remember going into my friend's basement and I saw Mario Kart 64 boxed complete and I died. I was like wow, how do you have that, he is not even a gamer and i traded some xbox 360 games and I didn't have one so it didn't hurt me. It was just crazy how he had that. When I get a license, I want to go to yard sales and find crazy stuff. I would rather go out and spend the least on everything and say I got a PS2 for 6$, PS1 for 5$ My friend got a dreamcast for 5$, 80 PS1 for 10$ I got Mario Party for 3$ at a thrift store. I saw Original Xbox, Halo Edition for 25$ at a thrift store and my friend thinks Pittsburgh is not a good place to collect but it is. There are like 5 billion exchanges that I can go too. I feel bad for all of you that there is no flea markets or anything. I honestly don't know why you guys collect, it would be a struggle. The deals are real. What do you guys think about this.

I think that when I get my license I'll go to buy milk boxes. Those with twelve boxes of one liter each. Because I can't carry a lot of them when I go walking to the supermarket, you know. When I click I hear a voice in my mind that says "I'm overburdened!" and "I can't carry anymore!". It depends of the milk brand. But right now "I'm not thirsty!". And hey, "I'm no milk maid!".

Also, I prefer to buy at retail because I don't buy used. 'cause I'm crazy, you know. Of course you can save on shipping a lot by going by yourself to these markets. But it's not a culture here in my country. People don't do that around here.

And when you do go to a place that sells retro games the prices are outrageous.

I have gotten a lot of good deals in Pittsburgh at thrift stores but I never seen anything ultra rare, the exchange place on Carson Street had a European dreamcast controller in box and I have come across Japanese psx and dreamcast games a few times.

It's all a lot of luck.

Over half the time I go in a thrift store I don't get anything, or maybe a PS1 game I don't have cause it's like $2. Then one time I got Suikoden 2 and Streets of Rage 2 for $15 combined.

Most of the time, especially with thrifting, you just need to be persistent. Go every week or so and maybe you'll get something great.
