anyone ever hear of a new and used game store called game crazy? i just saw their flyer from my sunday paper. they have listed 19 stores in my 'area' a few within a half hour. they say they're "the ultimate neighborhood gaming store" where you can play any game before you buy. im definately gonna check it out this tuesday, i'll fill yah in then.
Hmm, not heard about the "play before you buy" thing, but I'd say go for it. GameCrazys (often found inside a Hollywood Video store) can sometimes have odd prices on newer things, but are a great source of NES/SNES/Genesis/Game Gear/Dreamcast games and such - it was at one of those places where I found my Capcom Power Fighter Stick.
yeah there not bad. be aware the dont give cash refunds under any circumstances. even if a new game is defective and it was there last copy. which happened to me with metal slug 3. there 'wish list' is cool though, they can put a game in your account, and when they get it in stock, they call you to get first dibs. very sweet. oh, and also beware, since there attached to hollywood video, they compulsively have alot of former rentals. ALWAYS check the disk, but im sure you do already.
ive bought from them before i can honseftly say they are the best when it comes to used stuff, i mean they literaly sell any used system and accesories.
Nah, they don't sell everything. They said that they'll buy and sell most common stuff, but theres a lot they won't buy. They won't touch a Lynx, or a TG-16 or anything more than uncommon.
Is that not illegal in the US?? It certainly is here - if something's broken or not as described or anything like that (outside of things like you not liking it or it not fitting you), you're entitled BY LAW to a full refund or replacement. Wow, I did learn something after 5 years of Business Studies...
Game Crazy out here is usually just the game section of a Hollywood Video store. Cool thing is they also sell used Nes, Genesis, Snes, Dreamcast, and even Game Gear games, and have used consoles in the $25 - $50 range. Won't find anything "rare" there in the way of consoles, but you might find good deals on games.
