I was wondering, would anyone here be interested in helping me with game creation? I use a relatively simple program, so it won't be anything too grand, plain vanilla is really what I'm aiming for. Doesn't really matter what position, music, graphics, or even just a motivational speaker ^_^. I've got some ideas of my own, but I'd rather have a group to headsteam with to work together.
I'm interested. Some more details would be appreciated before I give you a definate answer along with my preferential orientation on the team.
what im suposed to understand anyway? that you can't do alot of things with rpg maker? the limits is the challenge, and the infinite is a prison. :smt045 when you masterise rpg maker , you can do beautiful things you know? all you need is a good comprehension with cycles, labels , strings, events and layers...with this you can do incredible things.... and without limits, there's nothing unbelivable.
and i have another argument on my side, everyone could participate! :-D anyway, you decide , its your project uh?
what about the old thingy called klik and play ? http://www.flashback-aw.net/dl.php?s=utilities&f=klik_and_play.zip
Can help you with interface, prop design, and general 3D design of objects (Lightwave 3D user) - not precisely good at Character design if they're humanoid, though, but I have a designer friend. I can help you with the writing as well, dialogues and all. I'm also good at writing scripts and such. What are you using to buld the engine?
ooooh the nostalgia... my mates used that somewhere in '96 when having a 1GB hard disc made you the coolest kid on the block :smt043
I would love to contribute art, sprites, my voice for samples, or anything that will get me on the credits. Not much of a coder myself (my two gamemaker games suck donkey nuts, but they were learning experiences) but I know enough to be able to help debug. What exactly kind of game are you thinking about?
