    Hi,
So I've been offered the chance to buy a Game Doctor SFIII at a good price, except the games won't boot as it apparently displays a RAM error. How easy would this be to fix, and how feasible? I'm not too entirely up to speed on this sort of thing, so any of you geniuses here on assembler that could offer any tips, please do!

    Thanks

If the RAM is what's damaged, it can be replaced but modules may be difficult to find, IIRC it's not exactly the same as the more common GDSF6/7 replacements. Since RAM is not easy to damage, I'd guess there is a more serious problem like the ASIC which refreshes the RAM is damaged, or both under the right circumstances. Considering how the GDSF3 typically worth between US$30 and $50 from HK, it's probably not worth the trouble.

Okay, that's cool. Thanks a lot for your advice, I think I'll not get it then.
