I've got a couple of GG's which have the usual capacitor blown, but i'm having a hard time tracking down a cheap replacement - there's plenty of ebay sellers wanting £5 for a 30p capacitor. Could anyone point me in the right direction? there's a maplins down the road from me, and i would have thought they would have one, but i cant identify which it is.....could anyone give me a maplins prod code for a suitable one?

    Thx in advance.

Take the GG with you to Maplins and ask them for a replacement, their staff should be handy enough to sort it out for you. Also bear in mind that it may be more than one capacitor which is blown.

i've tested the other capacitors, although i might replace them anyway - as the original ones are very unrealiable. I never thought about taking the board down to them, some of them are more than just useless sales staff....
