I just found a GG in good condition with an official case, and two games for 20 CAN..about 15 USD or so. I checked ebay but never know what i should trust on there some times. Is this a fair price ? Also I had a Game Boy in my youth but never a Game Gear so I dont know if the games are even very good or woth playing. Since I broke my leg I figgure it would be something to play while sitting out on the front porch ..any sudgestions ?
I would say go for it, as long as its not too beaten up. The games are pretty much the same as Master System games, so there is some tripe, but some gold as well.
I'd say its a good price, espcially if you like Game Gear. I already have 3 of em, and I'd buy that one if I saw it around here in good condition for that price.
I here that the GG is region free ? is this true ? If so then will a TV-Tuner for it from the UK work on a North American GG ? or are the "air brodcasts" different ?
Get Mickey Mouse : Castle of Illusion, and GG Shinobi. 2 excellent games. Oh, and the GG Sonic games are good too.
A UK Tv tunner would most likely not work on a us game gear due to the fact that it is pal, and that you will only pick up ntsc signals, as would i if i had one here in the U.S.
Theres one at my local shop for $15. They have a Master System-cart-to-game-gear-cart-adapter for $25.
Picked a GG up for £1 at a car boot sale he he, with Sonic 2, Colums, James Pond 2 Robocod and a GG Multi Cart (Never ran into anyone before apart from the obvious Sega 4 game one) A UK Tuner does not pick up signals in NA also.
