I'm getting more and more into the Gamecube and i am hoping to start a proper collection of PAL games and hardware but i've not got a lot of knowlege of collecting in the way i want to start doing, mostly i collect what appeals to me but will now start to collect anything.

    1. Is there anywhere that has a list of Gamecube hardware and games, I know Wikipedia but would rather avoid that.

    2. Is there anything particular that is hard to get that i should look out for.

    3. Whats the best way to keep a record of things, a standard Excel document is what i was thinking of but can't view them on my current mobile and carrying arround anything like sheets of paper or whatever is not my idea.

I use an Excel spreadsheet myself and am always looking for ways to improve the readability and looks of it (It's pretty plain but it goes the job done and has the relevant info). I prefer to use this than websites since I like my customised format better.

You can also easily convert your excel inventory into a HTML document (to upload onto the internet) or a word document/text file, which you may able to view on your phone.

In a german forum I use to post in we have a list that is more or less complete (at least for european PAL releases). If you wish I can copy and send it to you via PM.

Apart from dev/promo/demo stuff maybe certain bundles like the french-exclusive Tales of Symphonia GC. Furthermore australian PAL releases which are rare (or were) like the first release of Animal Crossing.

I don't really know more rare/hard to get PAL stuff to be honest, but I'm sure there's at least something hard go acquire if not pricey as well.

I use an excel document for all my games and hardware. Perfect to write down condition / missing parts. I don't have a mobile that can open windows files anyway, so I'm afraid I can't hold step with you guys (technically). But I'm not buying games in stores anyway, so I don't need it... :110:

That would be great if you could do that thanks very much.

I tend to buy online 80-90% of the time but sometimes i'll pop into game shops mostly just to browse but sometimes will see stuff i want, mostly games but sometimes hardware. Apart from the Dev stuff which i don't really want to collect i'm mostly going for the Games 1st and then Hardware unless of course something pops up.
