They speak of transformation on the neogeo CD, they try to put and 10x for exemple but they said they should do an new bios

I am very interested by this article even if the project was not succed

I remember this article. After, I bought some Game Labo magazines. They were pretty advanced hardware and software hackers.
You can still find old Game Labos on Akihabara's Mandarake.

The Game Labo magazines (actually they were like paperback books) were fantastic. I used to buy them quite a bit before they stopped selling it around here. I guess the mag folded?

Nah, it's still being published: http://www.sansaibooks.co.jp/category/gl

But the last time I had one in my hands some 7 years ago, I thought it was crap. Just full of AR codes and cheats. It seems that now they added infos on smartphone hacks and other "secret" internet stuff.

It must have been good in the early years. It surely was great when it still was "Backup Katsuyou Technique".

    Little bit off topic:

I've seen Razoola and BigBear discussing this over and over on N-G forum and it's not possible.

Even more ram or another bios would not make a difference on the NeoGeo CD.

I believe Calpis can explain this in utter details but as far as I know it's not possible.

Make what possible? Faster game loading I assume? It would have been sweet if the NG CD had been designed with the ability to install additional RAM. Sort of like the Sega Saturn or N64. Would have been nice for titles like Garou, King of Fighters 98+, Metal Slug 3+. I'm guessing if there is no way to make loading faster then the bottleneck is in how the system is designed and just can't be worked around.

Wasn't another issue with neo geo cd that to save costs they used a slow cd drive? Which would not make much of a performance increase if ram was added?

In fact it is possible to have an faster neo geo CD, Razzola said that too, but you should change the Bios so it's the principal problem
    May be razzola try it
Some people try to do an neo geo Open Bios and afer on neo geo CD
