What I really don't understand about people who complain about stuff like this is: why do you keep buying it? People are always complaining about DLC, crappy story arcs, locked characters, etc., and yet they still come back for more, over and over again. Care to ask why I never complain about such things? It's because I don't buy that shit, and thus I don't give a shit. If people don't buy a shitty product, more shitty products will not get made. So why do gamers gobble up shit they know to be shit again and again? It boggles the mind. btw, I do buy new games, it's just a rarer occurrence than it was in the past.
People are stupid. I bought Mass Effect 3 without the DLC and it was still a great game. The DLC wasn't even needed. In fact, if I never knew about it I wouldn't have even though the game needed it (Which it doesn't). People are whining bitches about EVERYTHING. Again, Mass Effect 3, because it's the big game of now got totally slagged for it's ending. Why? It's not that bad. It's not as if all these crying babies could write a better one.
People just want the game the way THEY want it. If more than 100 or so people dislike something everyone else follows, even people who haven't played Mass Effect 3 say the ending is bad.
Special editions of games are usually a load of shit though, especially if they come with some crappy figure or boring art book.
Anyone crying about the ending of ME3 hasn't played the first game, the ending for me was completely expected, from what I gather the major complaint is regardless of the choices you made throughout the series good/bad/neutral the ending doesn't really change. Whatever. Personally I like the fact we get the option of special editions providing it's physical stuff not DLC, I was always jealous of Japan's special editions, sure most of it is cheap crap but it's nice to have an option.
