I got Sega Rally Online Arcade last night. To break in my new 360 Controller (the one with the morphing D-Pad) and even though i grabbed a ton of other XBLA games I keep going back to Sega Rally Online. But I'm not entirely sure is this a port of Sega Rally 3 or it's own thing? It has the classic mode from Sega Rally 3 While I'm on the subject of Sega Rally how is Sega Rally 2006 and Revo? Worthy of the Sega Rally Legacy?
Horatio, The victim was killed while playing Sega Rally for sega saturn. Well it looks like for the victim it was... *slips shades on* ... Game over YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Pretty sure it's a port of SR3. I never played 2006, but Revo is graphically identical to SROA, except with crappier physics. Some people liked it, but I thought it felt nothing like Sega Rally and overall kinda sucked.
Sega Rally Online Arcade is amazing, it looks identical to revo, but handles COMPLETLY different, don't let the graphics fool you, it's a great game.
It really is I don't think I ever loved a racing game right away like SROA 5 tracks? Don't care the game is just that good and not easy by any means I was playing for 3 hours last night just trying to win a classic race and even though there was no achievement for doing so it was awesome when I finally won. I need to get a GD Rom copy of SR2 it's something I think every DC collection needs to have
The Dreamcast port of SR2 sucks. It's a port of the PC version, and it seems like it wasn't ported very well. The framerate is really bad. The PC version is supposedly not bad, though.
It's a great port, it looks IDENTICAL to SR Revo (I'm not exaggerating here), but it handles like Saturn Sega Rally, and if you own a driving wheel, it's even better.
Is it just me or is Sumo Digital awesome at everything they've done for Sega So far? Even Sonic all stars racing is great the tracks need more variety but What's there is awesome.
Almost everything, Sega Superstars Tennis sucked, somehow they completely fucked up the gameplay from Virtua Tennis 3. I wasn't too impressed with how they stripped out all the cool extra features from Out Run 2006 for Online Arcade either.
Yeah Virtual Tennis 3 seems quite off to me and on top of that I keep forgetting that I even own the game. Sega Super Star tennis was fun....for awhile then you hit a wall and can't advance.
Sumo Digital proved how great they were/are when they ported OutRun 2006 Coast to Coast to the PS2. They should have gotten a trophy for that one alone.
