Does any one know of any good sites that still have the old Game Shark codes for the Saturn? I did a search and found one page, but I think it is for the Japan version of the Game Shark. Anyone with Game Shark books with codes, let me know.. I have a Game Shark for my PSX, PS2,Saturn,Dreamcast,and Nintendo 64. -Hugh EDIT: Was there any game cheating devices for the original X-Box? I have one for the Gamecube. Why I ask, because there are times doing what you should be doing right seems impossible for me (IE Doom).
Re: XBOX - There was a device branded Action Replay, but iirc it only allowed you to transfer saves. The only way to cheat that I know of are trainers: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Using_Trainers
Here are a couple: http://www.cheatchaser.com/saturn/ http://botchok.tripod.com/sat/index.html It is possible (and maybe preferrable) to find AR codes using an emulator nowadays, but there ya go.
this is a list of Sega Saturn Action Replay Codes. These codes should be compatible with the GameShark.
There are cheats of the original Xbox if you have a modded BIOS or modchip it may have a trainer type program. I remember seeing mine mention one but never used it.
I've found some of links useful. Thanks ! I have a Japanese branded action replay by Karat. It's pretty much just a rebadged datel product though. Comes with a serial port on the top of the cartridge but I have no idea where to get the software for it. I want to find a code that will remove the time limit on the tomb raider sample disc I have. It seems to be a different build from the final Japanese release.
Thanks for the codes. I noticed in the file it said action replay. Is that GameShark in US? I know I should know this, but I don't. =Hugh EDIT: That sucks there wasn't a cheat device like the GameShark on the X-Box. I guess MS keep a tight leach on the devs. Well I guess I will have to do my best at DOOM3. Tough game for me.
Same thing, yes. On some systems it might also be called Code Breaker, I think. Why not get the PC version instead? I only just recently (re-)played them both, and while you'd never notice while playing it (it's very skillfully done), the XBOX version has tons of stuff missing (huge parts of some levels were cut, due to space constraints). On the PC side, you get the removed content, better controls, and the possibility of cheats and mods (I recommend installing "duct tape" at the very least - adds flashlights to the guns). (I'm gonna hold onto the XBOX version anyways, Doom 1&2 split screen coop on the big screen is made of pure win and gold :thumbsup
unfortunately I do not have a more recent codelist. This file was part of the EMS AR Plus Commslink software: http://www.hkems.com/download - others.htm
I have the DOOM3 collectors edition. It also has the other DOOMs that where made on it. I payed like $14 (US) (I think, it was cheap) brand new from Best Buy a year ago. I think I have the Mac version somewhere around here too. :/ Although I did find this today for the X-Box, and if they have any left next month I'm going to snag one of them. =Hugh
