Hi, I'm going soon to HongKong and Australia (Perth, Melborne, Sydney and Brisbane) and would like to visit some retro shops here and there. If anyone know of any good place post it here. Specially for HongKong. Thanks.
P.S.> Street name are ok as I have GPS for all cities.

You'll find a lot of topics asking the same thing if you use the search. Soon someone will be here (you know who you are! ;-)) to sing Barry Ling's praises - so go to gamechoiceclub and tell him some virtual guy sent you ;-) hahaha!

Hong Kong isnt the greatest. Ive seen one small retro shop in an games shopping mall and it wasnt the greatest sellection. Though there might be a hidden gem somewhere i doubt it would be better then looking through ebay. There are better things to go do then hunt retro shops in Hong Kong and its not the most relaxing thing to do.

What gps are you using for Hong Kong btw?

Gosh all that technology when a free map does the same job....

I was living in Hong Kong for 4 months and I did do a lot of exploring, Gamechoiceclub is nice but nothing you can't find in Japan and for a lot cheaper (even with the crap exchange rate), the more modern stuff you can find elsewhere in Hong Kong and you can find it cheaper too.

I also found some shops that did have retro games or machines either wanted far far too much for it or unless you go in the morning they will have zero interest in selling you the items if they are busy.

Australia? Well found nothing much in Brisbane or Melbourne, there are a few retro shops if you can be arsed to make a long journey outside the city centre and see a few Megadrives, NESes and the like...
