I can't remember ever playing that game (played 95% of all FC at least once) will check it out.

Someone has been working on a translation for this for a while. They have been asking for help on MO's Translation/Video Game Japanese Board, but it was so long ago that I can't find who it is anymore. :p

that person is furrykef. Apparently its got some freaky way of booting too so emulators need to customly identify the ROM. Ive seen furrykef on the Zsnes boards before they went down and got brought back up. You might try sneaking arund there. : )

Theres nothing weird about the game's hardware. 128k PRG, 128k CHR, "mapper" 19 (Namco's second generation "mapper".) Turns out I hacked it a while back (for play, not translation) :p Too involving of a game for my taste.

interesting, I recall reading how some emulators had to custom identify that game so it would properly execute. Perhaps Mr. Kef could explain some more details on this.

If an emulator properly runs "mapper 19", there shouldn't be a problem. If I were a translator though, I probably wouldn't want to translate a game on a board without an NA/EU conversion. My copy should be in mapper 8/12 or something so that wouldn't help either.

    Re: .

    Pretty awful, unfortunately.

Namcot they used a lot on MegaDrive and PC-Engine games. There are quite a few of these games on JG.
