hello, man its been some time since I have been on these forums. I decided to mod a gameboy color I picked up a while back. I will be front lighting it along with a few other things. I want to install a rechargeable battery into the gameboy. I picked up a broken ds and desoldered it charging port and removed its rechargeable battery so far. I desoldered the battery connectors on the gbc and when i soldered the chargeable battery in it seemed to work but then the battery died along with the gameboy. I need help figuring out how/what to solder the charging port to as well as what else is needed? any relays, or switches, or whatever would be required to charge the battery. I would like the gameboy to be able to charge and be played while the cable is plugged in to charge it. I hope this makes sense lol thanks in advance!
