Is there a way to have 2 GBC systems, with a special ribbon cable switch, to play one GBC at a time, but have them both connected? I want to know because I was thinking about creating a kiosk machine that would switch between two different games, using one GBC screen.
Check out the gb boy color, it has an internally connected game that you could remove and soldier a spare cart connector to. The switch can be used to select the slot you will use.
That's the beauty of this the gb boy color is a $30 clone system so no Gameboys will be harmed in the making. Designing a flexible ribbon with a multi point switch would be incredibly expensive and time consuming.
You can search eBay and AliExpress for "GB Boy Color" Here is a link to see what I'm talking about. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Kon...2-7-Game-Player-with-Backlit/32780784019.html
Yeah no problem, they have like 60 built in games that are on a Gameboy multi cart which is soldered to the main board. Which you could solder a cart port to and use any second gamem
