I was on a small shopping spree to dispose of a little bit of excess tip money, when I came across one of my personal 'holy grails', a Gameboy Printer (I know, sad...) Without a second thought, I snatched it up and brought it home (also finding along the way a pack of Printer paper/stickers missing the white roll, but including unopened yellow and blue rolls. I get home and am getting ready to excitedly try it with my Gameboy Camera that I have had for the longest time, and then I realize something.... my Gameboy Advance SP link cable does not fit into the printer's connection port. Is there any way to get the GBA SP to work with the Gameboy Printer, or do I need to hunt down an original Gameboy or Gameboy Color and a link cable? :smt022
Nope. GBA wont work. You need a special "printer" cable because a regular cable for GBC/GB won't fit on the socket thats on the GB Printer. Honestly though, its the same damn connection but just a different socket. Time to mod. Or buy one, like I did :smt040
