The lcd has composite and svideo in, but no RGB in. Is it possible to mod it to have rgb in? On the board there's an IC M52045FT (the one on the left). That IC outputs RGB from the composite and svideo. Will it work if i connect an rgb signal to the output pins of that ic?

Might work if you disconnect the M52045FT RGB outputs and feed the panel with the RGB signal from your source instead (at the proper voltage level). Don't remove the M52045FT chip completely as it will be doing the job it was doing before the mod regarding the synchronism signal. Feed Composite Sync to what was originally the Video in pin.
