Where can I find a list of games that are broadband compatible. IE Can use on-line rather than via a link...if they can? Mario Kart I am sure can be somehow Also wasn`t Phantasy Star On Line compatible?
These are the ones I know of: Online: Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II Plus Phantasy Star Online Episode III Homeland (I think that's the name; it's not out yet, and you can order it only from the official website). LAN: 1080: Avalanche Kirby's Air Ride Mario Kart: Double Dash You can tunnel the LAN games with homebrewed software such as Warp Pipe so you can play them online.
You lucky sod! Do you like the game? I really liked Wipeout 2097 but subsequent releases were less fun, imho.
I've got game (yes I live in eastern europe and this is USA import), but tomorrow I'm going to customs&post office to get my PSP system and then whole weekend of playing Pure Wipeout!
So getting myself a BBA soon as my M8 gets 30% of stuff in Gamestation so BBA £20 Anyone here play any of them at all??
I play MarioKart DD Online via warp pipe....but cant at the moment thanks to the Uni firewall (I live on campus in student accomodation). In about a month I should have new accomodation sorted though and a cable line in my flat...so I can play then
Makes you wonder why Nintendo spent development time, effort and cash developing and manufacturing the BBA and modem. The only company that use the damn thing are Sega for PSO. Crazy.
They did sign an contract with Gamespy in 2001 for game hosting... Maybe they anticipated more online support, for which they would not have to do a thing?
Surely Nintendo can't expect 3rd partys to make the effort when they don't themselves. I mean there's loads of Nintendo's own GC games that should be online multiplayer: Mario Party, Mario Kart, Waverace (should have been online from launch day), 1080*, etc.. Maybe if Nintendo had made the effort there'd be online sports, 1st person deathmatch etc.
I got both my 'cubes fitted with BBA's and LAN gaming on Mario Kart Double Dash is much more fun on a bigger screen with full gfx, instead of the split screen cut-down crap Hmm another 6 'cubes and BBA's maybe? To be, or not to be ....
Doesnt Mariokart only support upto 8 players over 2 cubes and not one player per-gamecube 8 player? Or are the voices just telling me mis-information again....
