Unused and planning to sell it. I know they're worth a lot, but not sure how much people are willing to pay for them.

A distinctly identifiable non-Japanese one!? OMG territory for sure. I'd start close to $150 being new.

Does this one differ from the japanese version somehow? I'm more than willing to sell it, since its my second one.

I know they are pretty expensive because I was looking for one a few months ago, in the end I got a Wii with a component cable for less than half the price of a Gamecube component cable.

You can check completed listings on eBay to see what they are going for on there. I paid $60 for mine when I bought it off a member here, I'd imagine it would sell quickly if you posted it for $60 to $75 on here. Someone was asking $90 for one not too long ago and I don't believe it sold (I could be wrong).

If you are looking to maximize the $ you can get for it, go to eBay. Otherwise list it for a reasonable price here and make someone's day :)

    Technically they're all Japanese.

    Made in China.

Speaking of location, interestingly some of these cables (mine doesn't) have the CE mark suggesting European approval.

I realise the rarity and quality from this item, but what advantage is there over a Wii one and simply using a Wii for Gamecube games..?

Slightly cleaner video. Nintendo didn't use this same chip in Wii.

As of late the prices have been going for pretty much low end is 130 and high end for like 180 or so. They are practically more expensive than some some of the video games that people are going after. Good Luck Mate
