Not sure why I wanted to do this, its a bit pointless no games support it but I wonder if it was possible to display a steroscopic 3D image through the gamecube and the answer is yes its possible.

it flicker a bit and requires some way of displaying 480p through the gamecube but it works, anyway thought someone may be mad enough to try it out at some point ;-). I think more works is required to get it working with a broad range of monitors but from a technical point of view it is possible to display steroscopic 3D image on the cube.

Has anyone got footage of it?
I keep hearing this game had 3D in mind when it was in development, but scrapped due to the high cost of a screen that could produce 3D images.

Unless theres some leftover code thats dormant I doubt it. If it were there then poking it back to life would be plausible as long as you have a display available to handle such

Nintendo even had the 3D screen on show at e3 iirc but left it in 2D mode

Created a PCB now the atmega gets its power from the GC serial port 5 volt line and I added a voltage doubler so I dont need the external 10-12V power supply.

Its not perfect no mounting holes and the J2 connect holes are a bit small but it works, schematic / PCB artwork and BOM is on my website.
