Gamecube save files&sd media launcher/playing backups on a wii?

    So I'm getting my wii hdmi modded and was wondering about if I can just hack the wii and have it backup my gamecube save files/save them directly to an external hd?

    Also can I still use my sd media launcher ( https://www.codejunkies.com/Products/SD-Media-Launcher__EF000580V.aspx ) to play gc games off an sd card on my wii or is there a way to play them directly off my external hd if I hack the wii?

    Softmod the wii, backup the gc memory card saves onto the wii sd card. Dump your gc games, play off the hdd.
    Don’t worry about sd launcher

    Nintendon't allows to play GC games from hdd easily. I played Mario Sunshine and Luigi Mansion that way without any issue. As a bonus you can use the Wiimote or pro controler as well as the GC pads.
