I'm looking for a way to backup all my save files to sd cards so I can back them up to my computer and the cloud. I saw this product: https://www.codejunkies.com/Products/SD-Media-Launcher__EF000580V.aspx And was wondering if it was possible to use it to save game saves to the sd card. Can anyone verify this?
But does that work with the stuff I already have saved on my gamecube memory card? Also I intend to keep playing gamecube games on the gamecube.
Yes you can use a Wii with Gamecube slots to back it up easily to an SD card, will work with your existing saves and you can continue using the card in your Gamecube after. Is your Gamecube modded at all in any way?
Not my current one. But I also want to play GBA games via the GBP so I might as well play my GC games on it as well because it offers better video quality than the Wii. My sd media launcher just arrived so I'll test it as soon as my new Gamecube arrives (my current one has been chilling with BadAss Consoles for almost 2 years now)
Use this: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/GCMM Open the Gamecube .dol file and you should be set. Good luck. Also, the video quality on the GC vs Wii is debatable, but if you prefer the GC, then have at it.
So I just put the gcmm_14f.dol on my sd card, put it in my sd media launcher, and plug it into memory card slot a and I will be able to save my game saves to the sd card?
