Gamecube solder probles (region switch)

    Gamecube solder problems (region switch)

    Days ago i decided to region switch my japanese gamecube, howerver there pins connected in this image were melt, and then its tough to even try to glue the wires a bit, they always got out.

    Have you tried using flux?

    Never heard before, but what i have seen, sounds to clen metals to be soldered, and the r6 and r5 pins are gone.

    Do you mean r5 and r6 were burnt off? Or do you mean r5 and r6 aren't even there? If you burnt it off, you'll have to look for an alternate solder point. The solder pad right next to the marking "R6" is a ground, so I'm pretty sure any ground will work as an alternate solder point for that pad. When you get a wire soldered on to that point, cover it with hot glue so it doesn't get pulled off.
