SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT! Would like to introduce to you all my new iOS App, Gamer FM. Basically a radio stream player focusing on gaming music. From SegaSonicRadio to OCRemix, there's ten stations to choose from. Optimised for maximum audio quality and even supports playing in the background with multitasking. Best part is, it's free. I'll download it right now!! By the way, I don't know how it is in the west but the bloody Chinese keep uploading the same shit time and time again and Apple allow it. The amount of times I've seen the same shitty games appear as new releases is really annoying. Do those idiots at Apple even give a shit or is it about flooding the market with 80% shit apps? There's even been many times when they allow apps that blatantly rip off copyrighted IP on their store.
Bloody hell, It says I need iOS 5.0 I'm not upgrading to that. I'll loose so much good jailbreak stuff. Can I ask why this program needs iOS5.0? Yakumo
I forgot to add the required architectures for earlier versions but that's fixed in v1.3 which will be out next week so I'll let you know when it's out.
Thanks. As for the endless spam applications. A while back Apple did get a hold on it a little and then they kinda let it slide again. Their ultimate solution was to arrange new releases alphabetically as well as by date which stopped any new apps from disappearing from peoples notice in the first few days but again that doesn't seem to have made much difference. The appstore has changed beyond recognition and is now over saturated. Once upon a time I used to make good money from apps just by advertising them on FB and twitter. Exposure in the new releases lists also helped, now the winners are those with the highest advertising budget. These days I just make silly little things like this. Gamer FM is thankfully unique and nobody has ever done anything like it.
There is actually a radio station called GamerFM. It's a plug in for TF2 and Garry's Mod servers, however instead of playing video game music its just any music you would want to request that they play and you play while you listen, hence GamerFM, may be worth an addition?
I think that probably extends beyond my legal responsibility and to be fair I'd say they're all copyrighted.
