I love the game itsself. On my cart I had 89 stars I think. I've experienced the full game (but not the ending) all the levels etc. I still love attempting parkour on whomps fortress.
Fair enough. It's not like anything particularly outstanding happens in the ending, I think Peach bakes a cake or something. Last time I really got into that game I got up to ~120 stars, everything except those Mario flying levels. Just could not get my head around the controls.
1) Zelda: OoT, did a play through completing the water temple. Brother comes along and finishes it for me, damn asshole. 2) Resident Evil; 2;5;0 - I start playing, something frustrates me and I figure I'll come back to it later. Never do. Have finished 3 and 4 though. 3) Final Fantasty VIII - moron brother erased my save just as I started disc 3. Haven't had the heart to start it all over again and lately I find it difficult to want to go through god awful random battles. 4) Jet Grind Radio - later levels demand too much of me as I never quite mastered the controls. 5) Ecco: DOTF - pretty much the same as the above but gameplay that doesn't make much sense without a guide to me sadly. 6) Any Mario game (except Yoshi's Island) - almost finished NSMB but my save got wiped. Mario 64 I've gotten about 80 stars before it became too difficult to control on my DS. Sunshine had the same problem on the Cube. 7) Riven - played through it twice only for the game to not let me start the final FMV for some reason. Must've bought a bugged copy way back when. Maybe one of these days I'll finally bite the bullet and finish them. Maybe I'll even enjoy them. Who knows.
I was going to give up on DNF but for some reason i kept playing it till the end. anyway: Super Mario Sunshine Zelda :OoT Those are the two that stand out for me. That water dungeon was too hard, and Super Mario Sunshine was too dumb all around.
Final Fantasy IX - My girlfriend got me to give it a go (as I HATE any FF after VI), and about halfway through I was so damn bored I just quit playing. Castlevania: Lord of Shadows - My cousin lent it to me declaring it one of his favorite games, but I don't really care much for 3D beat 'em ups, so I quit playing it a couple of levels in. Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow - I love Blue Dragon. I love Mistwalker. I think Tri-Crescendo is one of the most awful developers on the face of the planet. The result is a game I put about 6 hours into and traded in out of disgust. Those are the more recent ones that come to mind.
That game can be ridiculous with the difficulty sometimes. Thankfully it is a -Retreat and let your health restore game. If you struggle with difficulty get keys to the city. You cant get achievements or save while playing it but it has brilliant debug/trainer menus that you can change your agility etc with.
I bought this only because of the JogoJusto promotion ( a project to help lower taxes of games in Brazil ) but i really liked. Haven't finished yet, but what i played so far was enjoyable. I wouldn't say it's a must buy, but it's a good game on it's own. It's a shame it's under-appreciated.
I was playing that the other day (technically the Sonic spritehack, on a pirate cart). Brutal game. The audio is great, though. Just a shame nobody has created a .gbs rip of the soundtrack yet.
Final Fantasy 8. Gone through it two times but eventually get bored halfway in. Happens a lot with RPGs though since the fighting just gets repetitive.
i mean the game is easy but not able to keep my attention. yah some levels are brutal but once you play them 500 times you'll be great at them just like me . lol i have no life.
