It was pretty good, but not as good as 64, in my opinion. They were made by different teams within Nintendo. I would love to see another sequel, remake, or whatever.
The original Alone in the Dark, and yes I'm completely ignoring the Atari reboot. Also all N64 games mentioned I'm in complete agreement upon. Nintendo doesn't really do many HD re-releases, so there's a lot from both the N64 and the NGC that would benefit from a facelift. I'm still waiting for a proper console HD remaster of Super Mario 64, Nintendo. What happened to the rumored ReUmagining?
If we are talking about remakes, RE2 and RE3 would be at the top of my list, but I'd also enjoy remakes of Story of Thor and Eternal Champions (2D only for the last one).
Yeah I know, why didn't RE2 and 3 get real remakes on the GC? From what I know they're just a bit better ports.
Yep, they are just ports of the original editions. The main problem would be the need to completely remake the 2D prerendered backgrounds, which must be a huge, huge amount of work.
I assumed that "The Darkside Chronicles" for Wii pretty much eliminated any chance of a Resident Evil 2 remake... but then again, Capcom is currently making an HD "remaster" of a remake... so maybe not.
Yes, I realise it would be heavy on driving titles (not to mention dependent on as-yet-incomplete emulation), but I'd love to see a Model 3 collection some day - just look at a few of the potential games such a package could include: Daytona USA 2/Power Edition Dirt Devils Emergency Call Ambulance Fighting Vipers 2 Get Bass Harley Davidson & L.A. Riders L.A. Machineguns Le Mans 24 SCUD Race Plus Sega Rally 2 Spike Out Star Wars Trilogy The Lost World: Jurassic Park The Ocean Hunter Virtua Fighter 3tb Virtua Striker 2 Virtual On Oratorio Tangram *drools*
- Revolt (which might actually happen!) - Midtown Madness - LBA2 - Kung Fu Chaos - Rock'n'Roll Racing - Lost Vikings - Uniracers - GTA3 and Vice City - Mashed - Star Wars Episode 1 Racer - Scud Race - Daytona - Smash TV - Pokemon Snap - NFS2 [+SE] Some of those have remakes but I don't like them. Most of those actually only need a slight graphics and gameplay update. I'd put "Pro Pinball Timeshock" on the list but fortunaly that's happening already
Be very careful what you wish for - Square's announcement at the recent PlayStation Experience was a case of professional trolling at its finest!
I agree with most of the ones already listed but would like to add: - Onimusha - Star Wars: Dark Forces - Half-Life
