I know there are only two options. I was just saying that according to my experience trying to get through that holly check, I might have identified some parts/parameters of the algo (as sometimes I can "predict" whether the bios is going to pass the check before flashing it).

such info can be valuable start point for some other people with strong math knowledge.

 

I'm sorry but I am not going to share anything at the moment. Nothing personal, I just want to prepare my next bios release, using my new insights, to validate/invalidate my feelings. But no worries I will share whatever I find. I just want to work on it before saying any bullshit

Question: Are we able to make custom boot images or are they hardcoded? The dev boot image/animation is nice though!

 

It depends on what you mean by custom and hardcoded. If you mean being able to customize some of the bios aspects/behaviours once it has been flashed, so far no bios does it. But I may release something new that will give some customization options

Specifically if I could take some sort of image and replace the Dreamcast symbol with it, that would be great. I'm not too keen on how this works so I do not know if it is even possible.
