Area 51 requires a PS2 Gamesave with an Online profile in order to play on the OpenSpy servers. Otherwise creating a new profile does not work. I have a proper gamesave allowing it to play online on the OpenSpy server; but I wish to add the gamesave to the ISO rather than having to add an additional step to transfer a gamesave. I was figuring to save the gamesave folders to the ISO and writing a code with PS2Dis to rewrite mc:/ in the game files to cdrom0:/ or whatever it needs. Any other ideas?
Wouldn't it be easier to use ulauncher to copy the game same from a USB Pen drive to the memory card?
@thebigman1106 Not when you're trying to make it AIO so people don't have to jump through hoops to play the game.
It is only possible to change the device name, if it actually uses the file I/O functions, rather than the libmc functions. Is there no way for the user to create his own save?
Why don't you dump the game's memory with the save loaded and then just modify the game to have that data pre-loaded. That way you aren't messing with save files since it will just be in the game anyways.
Just added a download link to the file and created a way to change name . http://ps2onlinegaming.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2139 @1UP I tried that, but it freezes when trying to log in.
