http://www.gamespot.com/articles/previously-unreleased-chip-s-challenge-2-hitting-s/1100-6426767/ According to Wikipedia the original Chip's Challenge was released on Windows, MS-DOS, Atari ST, Amiga, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and of course, the Atari Lynx.
Yes! I was talking about this game with a friend recently. So happy it's finally hitting Steam. The unreleased sequel is equally if not more exciting.
Very cool! I am assuming the Windows Entertainment Pack version of the first game will be re-released. It will need to be remade into a 32-bit game though. The original Windows version is a 16-bit executable and will not work on Windows 7.
Played the living hell out of this and SkiFree on my fancy HP Pavilion 5040 back in the day. Brings back memories of actually walking around Circuit City too.
Ahh, SkiFree! I completely forgot about that one. Good times, good times. I could definitely see an Android release. That would be an immediate purchase for me.
Chip's Challenge 2 is finally out after 25 years http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-05-28-chips-challenge-2-is-finally-out-after-25-years p.s. It's great to see Assembler back!
